WHAT’S THE MAIN FOCUS OF YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ROLE?
Our main goal is to drive customer acquisition by leveraging SEO, SEM, Social, Display and Video channels online. We manage multimillion dollar budgets to connect Australians with thousands of experiences from our suppliers on Big Red Group marketplaces. Maximising return on investment and driving efficient growth year on year is a big focus for us. As well as constantly and proactively adapting to challenges and opportunities in the marketplace and the digital industry.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR ROLE?
The direct and measurable impact of everything we do across the channels we manage. Not just BAU activity but also testing new ideas and projects. It is great to be in an organisation where you can make things happen quickly, with trust and encouragement from senior leaders as well as great support and collaboration with Product, Data, Tech and Creative teams.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING FOR BIG RED GROUP?
The people. Big Red Group is full of very smart and outgoing individuals that are laser-focused on a common goal. We have a great People team that make sure all pieces of the puzzle fit correctly to achieve that. Having experienced some toxic corporate culture in the past I really enjoy and appreciate the great positive energy we have, even when working remotely during a pandemic.

WHAT’S THE MOST INTERESTING EXPERIENCE YOU’VE PARTICIPATED IN SINCE STARTING?
Paint and sip was a fun team bonding experience. We had to paint a portrait of the person in front of us. The results were definitely interesting! I’m excited about aerobatic flying which has been on my to-do list for a while now.
