Curation Process with RedBalloon
RedBalloon uses an 11-step curation process to ensure it works only with the best experience providers in Australia. All experiences listed on the site are optimised by a team of in-house copywriters, SEO experts and merchandisers to ensure each experience has the best conversion rate possible. Our customers receive end-to-end service from RedBalloon – from pre-sale information to post-experience reviews and customer service.


RedBalloon Currency
RedBalloon markets your products to a female-heavy audience with key interests in food, travel & fashion. Customers tend to purchase gift vouchers for a dollar value, or a specific experience are available. At the time of writing, over 500,000 Australians hold a RedBalloon voucher. Vouchers are valid for 5 years (if your price goes up after the first 18 months, customers pay the difference in value)
Instant Bookings
Alternatively, customers can book selected experiences instantly. RedBalloon works with a variety of channel managers (including Rezdy, Fareharbor and others) to facilitate live availability and instant bookings, or you can choose to use the RedBalloon proprietary (and free!) Supplier Hub. Once a booking is confirmed, you’ll be paid automatically, usually before the customer arrives. No need to invoice us, it’s all taken care of and reported on in our Supplier Hub.


Campaigns
We use a range of tactics to ensure your products receive exposure, including site-wide campaigns for occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day and Mother’s Day. We increase our investment in marketing during these periods to ensure we bring you more customers. These campaigns generate more sales for you, and there’s no additional cost to participate.
Our Requirements
- No set-up costs
- We need good content (photography, video and a great description) which we’ll tailor into our listings
- We simply earn a marketing fee or commission each time that we make a sale
- Your business must be registered for GST
- Your public liability insurance must be current and the minimum cover required is $5 million
- Exclusive experiences are a key focus for the BRG brands and will be given priority. Our team can help you to curate exclusive offerings
